Zan’s not getting away with it. Whatever it was. This is probably a wrap on Superfriends, which is both a shame and fine. It’s a shame because, with no new product shown at San Diego Comic Con, they’ll probably end the line without the rest of the Token Squad Apache Chief, Samurai, El Dorado) or finishitn Legion of Doom (Giganta, Solomon Grundy, Gorilla Grodd, Scarecrow), or Wendy/Marvin/Wonder Dog, or the hnadful of later/infrequent heroes (Both Hawks, Cybork, Firestorm).
But it’s fine because we got most of the cast and, with Wonder Woman, all of the main heroes, finally, and I’m happy to pretty much move on from everything McFarlane Toys going forward except for a couple of Vault preorders on characters I want to have because Mattel will either never get to them or might make them worse somehow.
Anyway, they’re fine, meets expectations, look like the characters, Wonder Woman comes with a yellow string lasso which is nice, but otherwise it’s just the reused communicators and trading cards and basic bodies with new heads.
I spent a LOT of time scrubbing through Superfriends episodes not finding a useful screen but jumped to the penultimate season and found this, which was a setup for Firestorm’s civilian halves (teen and professor) doing the teen’s homework. PERFECT.
