HE! CAN! SIT!When I got the Concept Art Man-E-Faces, I toyed briefly with the idea of getting ALL the Man-E-Faces that ever there were. It seemed like an achievable goal. The vintage figure is readily available, I have Cartoon Collection, WWE, and Concept Art, and that left (I thought), New Eternia, Origins, and 200X, and all of those were in the fairly reasonable range. Origins was oddly the most expensive of the lot.
But then I learned there was an 8th figure, a Classics rerelease, and that one went for like 70 bucks and it was just a toy remake like the Origins and, well, there was no point in pursuing that anymore.
But New Eternia stayed on the list, because it’s the only Man-E-Faces on a Masterverse-style body with proper articulation, and therefore the only one who can sit in a goddamned chair. Plus he has six faces to choose your three from. So I grabbed one when I found one for Normal Action Figure Price.
And that’s pretty much it. He comes with a monocrhome blaster, a couple of fists, and his backpack/case of extra faces, all sene here along with him sitting in another Official Room I’ve been working with. I made the mini-comic myself on the printer so it’s a bit dodgy in the cutout but it does the job.
