I was LOOKING for a different vampire.
As I mentioned in the previous web line post, I wrapped one strand of the painted 26 gauge floral wire tightly around each of the floppy plastic web lines to make them bendy. The upside is it’s still squishy, so the hands hold it better. The downside is it’s not purely “secure” as such, so it needs to be retwisted and squished down and even then sometimes it gaps in a way t hat screams more “LOOK A WIRE” than “STRAY STRAND OF WEBBING”.
Last of these for a while - this is the extent of my first batch of ideas although I do think it’s a well that’s worth returning to in the future.
Shoutout to new Normie Squad inductees Brodie Lee, Christian Cage, and Pee Wee Herman.
This is also not an endorsement of Subway, which I stopped eating at during 2020 thanks to Covid and realized I never needed to start again, but Alf somes with a cat sandwich and the Collection of Miniature Items included a Subway sub, so….
None of my wrestler t-shirts would fit either figure, so they became MJF fans.
Fun fact - image searches for “largest ball of twine” brought iup images of at least two distinct balls of twine. I don’t know if that means one ball of twine in two settings over the years, or twi giant balls of twine. Doesn’t matt, I just needed one with enough room around it for the fig poses, and I found one.
Alf and Vincent Price, watching some Bluey. It’s a Grannies episode because I fucking love Grannies episodes.
I have very mixed feelings about Buc-ees as a concept and an institution but there’s no leaving it out of a road trip, heh.
There’s not much to say about these, or, if I’ve done the art right, there shouldn’t be. I’ve put some thought into the ordering, not to establish a narrative or anything but more of an escalation in complexity / variety in settings.
