I, too, just want to have fun.And so we get, at long last, to the point. The reason. Why I bought an entire-ass three-pack despite knowing half of it was redundant.
Is there a chance that, in the near future, Mattel will release a single-packed Cyndi Lauper? Absolutely. I’d even bet on it. But I wouldn’t bet “not having a Cyndi Lauper action figure” on it so here we are. I’m not privy to whatever licensing deal led to this. Maybe it’s a one-shot.
Anyway, I had in fact collected a stack of ten other figures to trail behind Cyndi in the style of the classic video, unsure how many would fit. The first six got shot because that’s what fits in the photo box and that was it, no room for any more. Which is a shame but that’s how the cookie crumbles.
I did play around with doing reflections in the wet part of the street but I didn’t put a lot of effort into mentally ray-tracing that shit.
