DOONK!This, at least, is an improvement over Captain Loue.
I mean, I already have a very good Roddy Piper. I have the Ultimate Edition one from the Coliseum two-pack with George Steele, and then Cathy added the ringer to the ringer T. So I do not need an Elite-ass engineering Roddy Piper.
BUT.
At least he has a different outfit, with the puffy frilly shirt and the sporran and a slightly different kilt. I don’t know for sure if these’ll fit on the Good Piper or not. There’s also a slightly different head that I don’t like very much but does look insane.
The box set also comes in a box that looks like a teevee with Old Fed and Mattel logos on the dials. It’ll be the SEOCOND three-pack in a box that looks like a TV out of San Diego Comic-Con I plan to get this summer, which is… surprising. This once comes with a vaguely Piper’s Pit insert that you can flip over to some Fed-coded bullshit on the other side. You’ll notice I also blanked the WWF logo on the other dial because, well, fuck the Fed.
And if you give me an 80’s wrestling situation now that I hve the Youngest Men Alive in plastic form, fuck yeah I’m gonna use it. The Outrunners’ appearance isn’t going great but I’m sure it’s an honor just to be there.
I’ll probably turn the box front into a free-standing overlay physically at some point, For now I just did it digital and I’ve saved it as an overlay. Other than that it’s largely practical.
