This ended up being a GIANT pain in the ass, by the way. The initial angles I had in my mind’s eye weren’t working. I needed to be able to see all four figures’ capes for it to work but I also wanted to see their faces and a steeper angle meant heads or shoulders or capes kept getting covered up. So I went shallower and then went back into Spider-Man 2 photo mode to get the rosy rooftop at the right angle.
I also struggled with the logo and text a bunch because my early attempts looked even jankier than these do. GRAPHIC DESIGN IS MY PASSION. There is a look for things, a 3-d, metallic sheen, very late 90’s kind of deal that I can’t pull off with the tools at my disposal because honestly you really need either art skills or some kind of actual 3-d texture and rendering deal to pull off. So I went through about three variations of the logo and three of the text before I was happy enough.
