This is mostly an excuse to play around. I mean all of these are, but this one more so.The contributing factors to me doing this are, first, finally getting around to seeing Chainsaw Man: The Movie, after a rewatch of the series to refresh my memory. I do love me some Chainsaw Man.
Also, the Upgrade Shark was out so I could use it for the Tiny Ryu Photobombs on the Hydro-Viper and Airtight pics.
Also also, the unsuccessful attempts at Zoom Blur on the Ryu pic frustrated me and I wanted to try out some other ways of using it.
So, the technical stuff - I used Spider-Man 2 Photo Mode to get the buildings. Then I made a copy of that layer, Zoom Blurred the second layer fully, then used a circular gradient mask on the top layer to gradually increase the amount of zoom blur from the center out.
Then I threw a little bit of motion blur on all the edges of the figure pic to add to the overall effect.
I like how it turned out and it’s something I can use as long as the background zoom-blurs well, which the Japanese house interior I used for the Ryu pic absolutely did not.
The chains are the dog collar chaines from theROH Briscoes 2-pack if that interests you at all.
