Oh, man, I should have done the Predator / Outrunners hand clasp. Spoiler alert, having just thought of it as I started typing this, I’m definitely gonna do it.Tiger Claw was the only toy I was interested in from the entire annual Red Bastards / NECA spring event. I have a thing for proper TMNT animal dudes, and he can join Bebop, Rocksteady, Usagi, and Panda Khan in that lineup even if he’s technically from the 2012 cartoon and has a slightly different stylized look. I mix and match my Turtle shit anyway.
He’s very good! You can tell when NECA puts the effort in, and they really did here - everything looks great, he moves fine (never a guarantee with NECA) and comes with a bunch of stuff.
My only complaint is that the pistols and the hands aren’t very good friends. You can make it work but it’s weird how much trouble it is to get them in place and keep them there. But he’s got blast effects and is cowboy-coded (been adding a lot of cowboys lately) and he’s a lot of fun.
Of course I had to pair him with Tony. They’re not just both tigers, theyre actually very similar in terms of proportions and their overall.. roundness. Their hands are almost compatible, even. And then a nod to a GI Joe subline because I cross all the streams.
