THE SAD TRIO PART 3: Blue Marvel

Blue Marvel is a figure that always caught my eye when he was on the pegs.

I only have the tiniest knowledge of the character, partly from Marvel Snap, partly from him being included in some cosmic team book back when I would casually read comics news stories on the internet. But the design was always striking even though I could never really justify him at full price.

But at twelve bucks, to reach free shipping on a Target order so I could get the Puff Adder hands THAT I WOULD THEN FUCKING LOSE SOMEHOW? Absolutely. 

Sharp figure, blue “energy fist” effects pieces. Pretty standard Marvel Legends fare, to be honest, but solid and perfectly decent at less than half price.

For the photo, I found him fighting The Hulk on the internet, so I had him fighting The Hulk. I tried to find the context of him fighting The Hulk and it was something about The Maker and the Negative Zone, so I found a pic of the Negative Zone and tried to match the lighting/tone. I think it came out murky, but a lot of these acquisition pics are how I try stuff out and make learning mistakes I don’t care enough about to fix.
