It’s mainly about the eagle.What’s this? An early GI Joe Classified figure of a character who played a not insignificant role in the early cartoons, with an animal companion, on sale for $10 off? Don’t mind if I do!
I mean, Spirit is bog-standard Classified from head to boots. Reasonably well-articulated body, nice sculpt, nice paint, big-ass backpack, three weapons that fit into three spots on the figure or the backpack.
Oh and eagle.
The eagle comes with swappable folded and extended wings, which is a nice touch, and pegs into a perch molded into the backpack, which is another nice touch, and is a very nice eagle. So, yeah, I’ll happily drop fourteen bucks on that and get a bonus figure who is also, as far as I know, the only Native American in my collection.
I haven’t seen Peacemaker S2 yet but I still have a The Suicide Squad Peacemaker kicking around to battle for the eagle’s heart.
