This falls under the rare category of “Impulse Buy With Reasoning”.So, I recently (pre)ordered the Mythic Legions Otho redo because , well, he looks fucking awesome. And saw that they’d announced, in the same kind of redo line as Otho, a dwarf in fancy armor. And I thought if I was gonna have humans in fancy armor and a dwarf in fancy armor I should get an efl i fancy armor. So I looked to see if my shop of choice had an elf in fancy armor, and they did, so I tossed him in the PIle.
And he’s… good! He’s an older fig on an older body, so it kind of exacerbates both my likes and dislikes for Mythic Legions - great sculpting, great painting, great options, lots of stuff, the more stuff you add the worse it moves.
But man, that black shield and that black and silver blade. And also, you can make his upper arms and upper legs either armored or black with the extra parts included. I’ll never want the unarmored limbs and they came on the figure and swapping them was kind of a pain in the ass. You can plug his quiver into his back and you can plug his pauldrons into his back but you can’t do both at the same time.
He also comes with an alternate half-orc half-elf head which is fun but I doubt I’ll ever use on him.
For the pic I used another of my Ireland pics - I do wish I could go back in time and tell myself to take more pics framed to put toys in the middle of them, but I did get a few that work.
