Try before you buy!As with the Donner Party, my first foray into Operation Monster Force left me really impressed. Dr. Caligari is a sort of Nazi-coded mad scientists with a brain in a jar for a head. I mean, come on.
Even more than Donner, he fits so well into GI Joe Classified it’s like he was made for it, only better. Articulated, nicely painted, and oh, the accessories.
He has a Mad Science Gun and electric effects to plug into it, the traditional assortment of hands, assor, and then… the briefcase. The briefcase opens, revealing two canisters. The canisters open, revealing a metal shell. The metal shell opens, revealing racks of little green balls. This is apparently the nerve gas from The Rock for those who know but regardless, it’s the accessory of the year. It’s super detailed and super cool.
I’m especially pleased with how the pic came out, the shading and reflections I added, the general meshing with the BG, and some new tricks with some of the lightning effects.
