November Pile Of Loot: Operation Monster Force Dracula

As “effort into a gotchapic” goes, this is a biggie.Let’s start witht he figure. Once I got into Operation Monster Force, I added a bunch of them to my impulse buy list - a stack of figures I don’t necessarily need in my collection or are a little more expensive than I’d want to just automatically shell out for. Then, in the event of a sale, or the imminent shipment of a Pile of Loot and a bit of room in the disposable income budget, I can toss them on. That was Dracula.

I will say, by the standards of Dr. Ca;igari and Donner Party, Draculy is a little light on the accessories. Extra head, extra hands, stand, sword. But I really like the look of him, and now, knowing that I like the Monster Force build quality and articulation, he’s a nice add to what I thought was a small but is in fact a surprisingly growing sub-collection of Draculas, draculas, and dracula-adjacent figures.

From left to right:

Toy Biz Darkstalkers Morrigan (while I wait on the Strom Arena one), who’s not a Dracula but is a dracula; Count Chocula, Count Von Count, again, a dracula but not a Dracula; Count Chocula, a dracula and a Chocula but not a Dracula, Shredder as Dracula, who is both a dracula and a Dracula; Operation Monster Force Count Dracula, again, a dracula and a Dracula; Spider-Man The Animated Series Morbius, who is not a Dracula and technically, thanks to kid-friendly adjustments, not a dracula either; Danhausen, dracula-adjacent; Cunt Brakula (Brak in a Danhausen cape) who might be a dracula and might be a Dracula but it hinges on how you interpret the sketch; and Ernie, who’s the most Guillermo-coded action figure I own.

Also, every single one of these fuckers had a halo from the cutout process that I had to erase by hand, and it suuuuuuucked.
