Yee and/or haw.
So, yeah, a while back, a very rare thing happened - an entire four-figure wave of GI Joe Classified appealed to me for various reasons, so I pre-ordered the whole thing. Usually it’s one or two but this batch was right in my wheelhouse for a variety of reasons you’ll see.I’m doing them from easiest to toughest shot, but also starting with the one I think is my favorite, the new original character, a bounty hunter code named “Sundown”.
He’s a cowboy. On a non-steel horse he rides. He just comes with cowboy stuff. Swappable hat/hair, poncho, pistols, a knife, spurs on the boots, and an axe. I gave him Cowboypool’s effects gun because you gotta.
He’s just… solid. Everything works, both design-wise and functional-wise. We’ll get to how that compares with the rest of the wave in a bit but he’s got zero fussiness to him. He looks good, he works good, he’s everything I like Hasbro for as a company and has none of the things I dislike about Hasbro.
You may notice the guest appearance in the lower left - can’t help it, he’s fun and I’m gonna Emmett Nervend him for a bit.
