Aw adorable little red bulbous space guy.As I’ve mentioned before, I keep a list of cool guys and depending on budget and the size of the Pile of Loot, will sometimes toss one in before the PIle ships. They’re usually indie figs that look cool but aren’t vital to the collection.
This time I went with this Pilot, who shares a lot of bits with my Cosmic Legions Science Officer, except in metallic red and with some different bits. He’s just cool lookin’. They use this body for a lot of different dudes so the color has to be really striking for me to be interested.
This is an almost full loadout - the only things not on him are the alien head swap and some hands. He’s got the shoulder armor, pistol, the rigle, the tubes to the tiny backpack, the big collar piece, and the wrist hologram, all removable to change up the look. The clear bit also comes off the top of the helmet.
For the pic, this is a little joke for the Gundam fans out there, as another red bulbous space dude, Char’s Zaku II, patronizingly pats the head of the norma.-sized space dude.
