SALE GET: Deadpool & Wolverine X-23

I mean, I’m no made of stone.X-23 / Laura Kinney is the kind of figure I’m trying to cut way back on - a pretty good character, usually MCU, with a mostly conventional/boring design, but who’s on sale. Y’all have NO idea how much mid Hasbro I’ve passed up on on clearance of late. 

But I always felt a little bad about excluding her from my Deadpool and Wolverine Wave 2 preorders. She’s not a bad figure and she’s a good character but she’s in that America Chavez vein and that’s a largely thankless place in the collection. 

BUT.

First, she was half off. I was definitely waiting for clearance (something in retrospect I coulda done for a lot of this wave), and second, she has a pretty good accessory stuff. Two heads, two regular hands, two clawed hands, backpack, Juggernaut helmet, and, it turns out, glasses I almost threw out.

See, they were taped into the package sideways, nearly invisible, and got missed on both first opening and pre-recycling packaging check. Luckily when I went to do the pic and was looking at clips for backgrounds, the glasses were prominent in the scenes, and so I checked to see if the fig came with them (yes) and did I have them (no) and was the packaging still in the outside recycling bin (yes, luckily, because they pick the recycling up every other week) so distinctive glasses recovered!

For the pic, since she comes with the helmet from Shittiest Fox Juggernaut, I thought it’d be fun to put her with Proper Gamerverse Juggernaut and also play with some new ways of trying to indicate motion, both on the figs and the thrown helmet. Maybe it worked!
