Don’t ask me why I thought of this. It’s really not a pervy thing it just seemed right.Shuma-Gorath (Gargantos for copyright reasons) is easily the most astonishing toy of the year. The most surprising. The most unique. And so we forgive it its handful of flaws.
It’s huge. The pic is a one-shot so that’s its scale with tentacles folded in and next to a 6” figure. Sculpt and paint and the plastic-covered eye and the articulated eyelids and moving eyeball are all great and the bendy tentacles are great and it’s very posable BUT.
There’s something about the combination of the bendy wires and the hinge and swivel at the body that lets you hit a ton of poses while somehow not letting you hit the one you want. Maybe I need more practice with it or maybe I’m asking too much? It’s more frustrating than I thought it’d be. But ultimately that’s a small thing compared to the overall “how is this a thing” nature of the toy.
Again, for the pic, it’s not really an “oooh tentacles” thing above and beyond Toni Storm’s inherent horniness. The image of them escorting each other to one of their premieres just popped into my head and I like the way it turned out.
