SEQUEL PIC!I had my eye on this guy for a while - it’s a weird import Human Muscle Model from Keepgoing Toys and it was the one big impulse item I grabbed in February.
Part of it honestly is just the utility of a Skinless Dude. Much like the utility of a skeleton. I want someone to make an Organ Man and a Circulatory System Man now.
He comes with a second, more sedate, more useless head and a bunch of the standard hand types. Sculpt and paint is incredible. Articulation is mostly great but he has caps at the shoulders and hips that look like they’re meant to cover up gaps during extreme butterfly and splits movement but in fact hinders that motion. Everything else is smooth and has great range, though.
And I knew as soon as I hit “check out” what I’d be doing with him to start, and it’s this - a followup to the Ka-Zar gotchapic, back at the clerb. Couldn’t even get it shot for weeks because he showed up the day before Hawaii and every fig in this pic needs to be shot separately because the positioning is so finicky and critical with the four (now five) layers of overlapping depth.
And of course there was deciding how everyone from the first pic would react to a skinless stripper.
I’ve had it suggested to me that I do a skeleton version of this and the effort seems daunting but also I know the name of the club already so, we’ll see.
