Oops, this was done like a week ago.So, with like half of an exception, I’m caught up with Operation: Moster Force. I’m not interested in the very paramilitary zombies, werewolves, and/or vampires that mostly make up the Good Guys now that I’ve got The Eraser and this weirdo because I’m very off paramilitary at the moment for obvious reasons. There’s a reasonable argument to be made that a Forgotten King (the big bad) wouldn’t be amiss but it’s gonna have to wait until the giant backlog of preorders clears. If it ever does.
Anyway, Halloween Boy is an orange guy with a kind of goblin head and a ton of gear and a flaming sword and the flame is a removable effect and in what world am I gonna pass that up? Just a prime example of the Bunch Of Fun Shit model of OMF.
I knew I wanted to pair him with the NECA Costume Kid, and in this pose, which required two stands (one for the Kid, one for the Sack Of Candy) but I had to play around with different backgrounds, because first, the number of available trick or treat backgrounds that fit my acceptable use criteria are startlingly small, and second, the total height and proportions of Costume Kid On Figure’s Back is tough to manage in a horizontal aspect ratio. So I was very glad to find this local news clip on YouTube with the perfect ironic chyron where I only had to remove some identifying elements.
