You can’t fight in here! This is the wr room!The “impulse list” is a thing I keep of figures I wouldn’t mind having but don’t “need” for the definition of “need” that applies to collecting. A LOT of the impulse list is filling in the Operation Monster Force collection. The impulse list is for filling out Piles of Loot as budget allows and also answering family and friends who insist upon gifts.
General Brown was a biggie on the Impulse List because he’s a mutitasker but her’s also plain. He’s well made, and I -love- the new body with the detent-free smooth elbows and knees, and he’s well sculpted and has lots of paint detail, but also his accessories are the heads, necks, and hands necessary to make him into four different generals. And the upside to working digitally is that I can have all four in the same image while only owning one.
Now, working digitally means correctly eyeballing scale and positioning amongst pictures of individual figures, and I still work on that, but I think I did pretty good here. Also a mix of practical lighting and digital tweaking.
