Whoever at Jazwares decided it did, in fact, have to go this hard: I salute you and hope you find a new job soon.I created the Jazwares Effort Scale out of necessity because Jazwares AEW has had, by far, the biggest gap between the minimum effort and the maximum effort of any line I collect. And this Dalton Castle is, I swear to got, an honest 11/10 on the Jazwares Effort Scale. It tries harder than the hardest they’ve ever tried.
They didn’t even need to do the jumpsuit. They could have stopped at ring gear and we all would have been a little disappointed. They didn’t have to do the cape. We’d have understood if they just did the jumpsuit.
They didn’t NOT have to make the cape foldable and expanding like the real thing. They did. They did NOT have to make little pockets in the cape with plastic sticks in them so Dalton could hold the cape open, but they did. Having done that, they did NOT have to provide a second open-mouth head and a panoply of hands, including at least one unique hand. BUT THEY DID.
He’s everything a wrestling action figure should be, and a hell of a thing to go out on, or almost go out on, depending on whether or not any more toys are still in production now that the entire team has been laid off.
