Nobody can defeat THE GRANNIES.The Jada Toys Street Fighter line is between one and three figures away from completing the roster. It’s one away if you count “figs not available for preorder”, two if you count “figs not yet released”, and three if you count “figs I haven’t posted pics of yet”. Or, in reverse order, Balrog, T Hawk, Zangief. But let’s talk about Honda.
The Jada Toys E. Honda will rethink how you look at all your other Fat Bois. The engineering is impeccable. It pushes his mobility to the limits of physics. He MIGHT have been able to push a little farther with the legs in some directions if they’d gone with a fabric skirt instead of plastic, but tha plastic is just soft enough and split in the right places so that it’s not a big deal. He’s not gonna hit Spidey poses because, again, physics, but he’s incredibly dynamic for his size and bulk.
This is also the debut of my new Super Street Fighter customizable stage, with editable text, profile pics, and all 16 stages in their full widths. I really need to find resources for full width MvC2 stages to be honest and update that doc with those. Spent a few evenings putting it together partly on a whim and partly because I’ve been wanting to upgrade it for a while.
E. Honda is fighting THE GRANNIES, from the non-six-inch area of our collection. Here’s a little process insight for you - I always try to do as much of the posing in one shot / practically as possible before I give up but I do give up relatively quickly. So maybe fifteen minutes of trying to stack and stagger the Grannies with poster tac before I surrendered because it was not and would not be working and it’s not like I can use figure stands on ‘em.
