It’s the Gi Guys!So I’m trying to figure out what my Street fighter collecting is going to look like once Jada finishes their SF2 line, but one thing I know for sure is that I’m getting anyone who’s in Marvel V. Capcom 2. And I’m getting it from whoever puts it out first. Which means I’ve started to delve into Storm Arena, the Storm CZollectibles line that eschews $100 7+” figures with very squishy chests and puts out figures much closer to Jada in engineering and price points, although still with slightly squicshy chests. And first off the block is Dan.
Dan, functionally, iss equivalent to a later Jada fig, because it has floating shoulder joints, the squishy chests to get a bit more forward butterfly, and toe joints. So he can hit just a smidge more of a pose than Jada Ruy or Ken can. The accessories are comparable - some hands (the hands are VERY rubbery, which is fine bot odd), effects piece, second hand, and a very complicated stand I don’t fully understand that works with both the fig and the effects piece - it seems very good if you want the fig aws part of a display but is bulky and complicated for pics.
Anyway, since I got him for MvC2 I did the pic for MvC2 and got all four of the Guys In Gis together with Ken and Ruy doing leaping0-in Assists.
