Times are tough on Tattoine.So you won’t remember this from like last year or longer when I got a Figrin D’an, but the way Hasbro did the Cantina Band in Black Series is that they sold two figures - Figrin D’an at normal price with the three clarinet-like instruments, and Nalan Cheel as a deluxe figure with the three big instruments, drumsticks, and extra hands..
The idea is that people who wanted the whole band could buy one Cheel and five Figrins and throw away 12 clarinets and have full cantina band for around $160. Which is fine if you’re into that as a display but not for me. I did ultimately want all the instruments, though, so I’ve had an eBay search for a list or near-list price since a few months after my initial decision to pass on them turned out to be wrong. And after about… a year? Maybe less. But it did work out.
So the next question was, CAN I DO A ONE MAN CANtiNA BAND? The answer is obvious now but when I started it was much less clear. But with the power of careful arrangement and a shit-ton of poster tac success was achieved. Then I found images on line of an imperial crate and credits to complete things.
