He has to play as the Tennessee Jedi.We’ve covered this with Osha and Kalnacca, but The Acolyte was… fine! Lots of things I liked, handful of things that didn’t hit, handful of things that left me cold. So my action figure accumulation for it has largely been due to factors beyond “love of the character”.
Osha looks great as a figure. Kalnacca is a Wookiee Jedi and was on clearance. Qinir is Manny Jacinto. I don’t OFTEN buy figures because of the actor, but sometimes it can push someone off the bubble.
The figure is fine. Pretty standard Black Series stuff except for the swappable head and neck (neck digitally removed for obvious reasons) which is a rare thing indeed for the line. Single elbows and knees, soft goods pants under plastic robe, lightsaber. Sure wish Hasbro had done its investment into import-style “fwooshing” lightsaber effect pieces BEFORE releasing him but at least he comes with the detachable dagger part and blade.
Obviously had to go Good Place for the pic. I mean come on. Plus I had the game console from the Alf.
