Real Baat-Glass. Cry me a Bat-River.I am, for all practical intents and purposes, caught up on wrestling figures. Are there a couple of people I’d like figures of still? Yes, but their figures are either inadequate or no longer available. Plus, with the possible exception of Ultimate figures of some legends, I’m not buying WWE figures at all or for the foreseeable future. But I did finish off my wish list recently, starting with the Scapegoat Jack Perry.
As with so many things, by the time the figure comes out, the character has abandoned his Scapegoaty ways, reunited with Luchasaurus nee Killswitch nee Luchasaurus, and is now “Jungle Jack Perry”, but this figure mostly approximates that, especially if you take off the shirt and find some way to cover the painted armband.
Anyway, he’s a 6.5 on the Jazwares Effort Scale - Guy In Tights with sleeveless T, painted armband, a couple of hands. Decent head sculpt and honestly not sure how much more they COULD have done with this incarnation except maybe a soft goods jacket.
The pic references a very infamous moment from 2023 that ultimately led to CM Punk getting canned, going to WWE, and demonstrating that most of his stated principles were for show. You can look it up but if you don’t know you probably also don’t care.
I used the Batmobile mainly because IT’S MY ONLY CAR.
