Oh hey, it’s the latest chapter in my Fortnite Weirdos Saga!Previously on this saga, I had acquired Shadow Meowscles for a reasonable price on eBay, completing my collection of Fortnite Weirdos. Which led me to consult a checklist. Which led me to adding three more Fortnite Weirdos to my “want in my collection of Fortnite Weirdos”, uncompleting the collection. Those figures were Rabbit Raider, Atlanetean Fishstick, and Brat.
Hence, I bought DJ Yonder.
OK, listen. I missed DJ Yonder on the checklist, or I saw him and his thumbnail on the checklist didn’t show him off properly. And this dude on eBay put up literally his entire collection of minty-boxed Jazwares Fortnite toys, including [REDACTED], [REDACTED], and Brat, and while Brat’s understandable price was more than I will every pay, the other two weren’t. And while we were negotiating over combined shipping, he put up more from the collection, that included a very clear picture of DJ Yonder, and fuck yeah I needed him. For one thing, I’m now growing a slow but impressive Musical Performers subcollection, with Rock Alf and Cold Slither and various accessories. For another thing, robot llama (probably) DJ with articulated jaw.
For the pic, I decided on “uninvited guest performer at the Cold Slither show” because the boys were still out and about and any excuse…
