From desperation, inspiration.Ka-Zar was the only interesting (to me) figure in a largely underwhelming (to me) Marvel Legends wave late last year, and even that was only because Mostly Naked Jungle Guy is an under-represented trope in my collection. So I just got him on clearance.
He’s a mostly naked jungle guy and he comes with a spear and a knife and some hands. That’s the figure review.
As a result, though, I was stumped on what I wanted the pic to be. Until I had an idea. Which led to a second idea. Which led to a mental image of a VERY complicated picture. And then I realized “The Savage Land” was not only where Ka-Zar hangs out in the comics, it’s a great name for a male stgrip club. So then I needed to figure out how to make a neon sign. I think it turned out good.
Yes, those are Bluey dollarbucks being stuffed into his loincloth. Yes, I think that’s very funny.
