CLEARANCE HEAD: Iron Man Mark 1 (Gold)

 

TOO HOT IN THE HOT TUB!T

The Marvel Legends Iron Man Mark 1 Gold Version from the recent Iron Man retro card wave that I’d skipped completely had four things going for it.

First, it was on clearance.

Second, it got me free shipping on something else I needed.

Third, it was an Iron Man shape/model I didn’t have before.

Fourth, and most importantly, it had a 70/s/80’s Tony Stark head.

The sleazy Tony Stark head was the one thing missing from the Secret Wars Iron Man I got recently. Now he is complete. And in his hot tub. I spent two days… acquiring a screenshottable version of the 90’s Iron Man cartoon because I knew there was a hot tub in it but none of the Internet screenshots had a good angle on it. But the show did!

The figure is… fine. Very basic Marvel Legends Iron Man - minimal paint, the usual repulsor accessory set.
