Weekly Wrasslin’ Wroundup (Feb 26-28)

NO WAIT RESIST ALL NATURAL INSTINCTS AND DON’T CHANGE THE CHANNEL
OK week of wrestling coming out of Elimination Chamber, as we head toward a dull Fastlane and who knows what kind of Wrestlemania.

ROMAN REIGNS OWES BROCK LESNAR AN EDIbLE ARRANGEMENT

Roman Reigns cut a promo on Brock Lesnar for missing Raw that finally revealed to me the Roman Reigns I want to see. I don’t know whether Lesnar’s no-show was planned or not, but either way, the Reigns that cut this promo seemed like a person, not a character. He seemed genuine. He seemed like he was being himself and not what WWE wanted him to be, and even if that’s a work, it’s a work that WORKED. He had a bit of the heel Uso cadence in his voice, he had passion and emotion, he seemed less like an indestructible robot and more like the person we’ve all been hoping was in there for years. I want this Roman Reigns to beat Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.

USOS AND NEW DAY KILL IT WITH PROMOS

Speaking of Uso cadence, damn, that promo was hot. Considering what they’ve failed to do with the tag division since the Usos and New Day stopped feuding, I’m happy to see them back.

JOHN CENA WILL ALSO GET BET BY AJ STYLES AT FASTLANE

Look, this match is already complete bullshit. Adding Cena to it is polishing the turd. Rumor is Cena’s whole road to Wrestlemania quest is going to end with a match against Rey Mysterio, which is fine, but maybe just get to that so I don’t need to see a Ten Knuckle Shuffle two PPV’s in a row.

I GUESS IT’S ASUKA VS. BLISS AFTER ALL

I’m not a crazy person, right? They’ve spent the entire time since the Rumble not saying who Asuka was going to face, right? So either it was a weird coincidence accident, or they were hedging their bet until they made up their minds. Anyway, it’s apparently on like Donkey Kong. ewesdraq E34

EVERYONE RAW CAN’T DO ANYTHING WITH IS SOMEHOW IN THE IC TITLE HUNT.

Seth Rollins beat The Miz and then Finn Balor beat The Miz and I guess it all has IC Title implications? Braun Strowman is beating up Elias for now but I expect that to shift before Mania.

CRUISERWEIGHTS

Cedric Alexander advances, as expected, but Roderick Strong advances, and that’s more unexpected than his first win. He’s now beaten Hideo Itami and Kalisto. I wonder if they have plans for him after he loses to Cedric.

BAYLEY SORTA TURNED BACK ON SASHA

She did the “abandon your tag partner” thing on Raw. So that’s gonna keep going.
