TLBPOLFAW: Panthro

 

In honor of one of the greatest cartoon outtakes of all time.I would, eventually, like to get the Core 4 Thundercats in their best action figure version (currently Super7 Ultimates) but not at full price. Panthro was on sale around the holidays, so I grabbed one. Cheetara and Tygra ar currently not available in any kind of reasonable version but Super7’s been putting some Thundercats out in accessory-stripped reduced-price packaging, so that may be an option to complete the team.

So, yeah. Like most Thundercats, Panthro is on the “good” end of Super7’s stuff. The usual single elbows and knees but they’re at least full range, plus good accessories and the traditional clean paint and sculpting.

For the pic, I grabbed a Thundertank garagee from Thundercats Roar and used the New Yorker cartoon trick on a classic moment from the Thundercats outtakes that made their way around Napster back in the day.
