THE FOOT FACE WAY

Raw is done with PPV events between now and Wrestlemania, and they ended up with a pretty decent show. Only one real clunker on the main card, a couple of outstanding matches, but the utter predictability of the main event and some questionable booking choices knocked it down a few notches.

PREDICTIONS: Elimination Chamber (2018)

One of these days, the WWE is going to build a forgiving structure.

I don’t have high hopes for this year’s Elimination Chamber, since most of what’s at stake seems to be set in stone. Fsatlane is going to have a similar problem soon, but at least it makes some things easy to predict.

Weekly Wrasslin’ Wrouindup (Last Two Weeks)

Still the best thing to happen either week.

I skipped a week, because the only three things that happened last week were Braun Strowman wielding an upright bass like a guitar (awesome), Mark Andrews and Drew Gulak advance in the Cruiserweight Tournament (fine) and Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin move into the championship mosh at Fastlane (boo). As we head toward Elimination Chamber, you’d think there’d be more Events Of Significance, but...

Black Panther (No Spoilers)

Black Panther is a good movie, in every sense of the word.

Black Lightning: “Some More Bullshit About The Devil”

Still not buying it.

Black Lighting gets its own overly long title about the devil that I’m not going to fucking type out or try to remember, but at least it’s a better episode than Arrow’s was.

Runaways: “Rewind” / “Destiny”

Hijinks With Mom’s Jarvis

There’s something very compelling about Runaways that I can’t quite place, given some of the weaknesses in execution (some clunky writing and acting in the early going).

Arrow: “Some Bullshit About The Devil”
