AUGUST PILE FINALE: The Forgotten King

 

Forgotten, remembered, forget, forgotten.So, that’s it for my Operation Monster Force backfill. All that’s left are a bunch of paramilitary good guy vampires and zombies and a bunch of bad guy repaints, none of which are even remotely essential.

But I did figure I should get the head bad guy, The Forgotten King, who’s got a whole Egyptian thing going on as well as a broken shoulder. I think I broke it in the two weeks between getting the fig and messing with it properly. The peg is gone gone. But it works OK because the ball fits tight into the butterfly socket so I’m not gonna worry about replacing it.

Otherwise, it’s a bunch of hands, a staff with interchangeable parts, and some spell effects. I like that there are clear blue hands to pair with the clear blue spell effects, plus white glove hands and skin hands.

For the pic, I decided that my version of “lore” is that he’s the Forgotten King because he can make people forget him for inconveniently short amounts of time. So he can go drinking with Count Dracula, his arch-nemesis, but has to keep wiping his mind when things get awkward.
