Kurt Angle's big secret was revealed this week, and it was that Jason Jordan, of American Alpha, is in fact his son. Which explains why Chad Gable has been going it alone for weeks on Smackdown,, at least.
Is this necessary? Fuck no. Will it be handled well? Indubitably not. Will anyone miss American Alpha? Not if they're trying to write for the Smackdown tag division. Though I am psyched to see Gable's new singles finisher. I wonder if I ever will.
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are slowly making up with each other, which is a story that works for me despite it being built around the four millionth go around of Ambrose Vs. Miz.
While Finn Balor toys with Elias Samson, they're apparently setting up Balor-Wyatt for Summerslam, which is a good excuse to break out the Demon makeup and that's about all that's good about it.
Since it's Summerslam, we have to have multiteam matches for belts, so of course Strowman stops the #1 contenders match between Joe and Reigns, and Nia Jax may well play an identical role in next week's #1 Contender's match between Sasha and Bayley.
Tag teams did something, I guess.
Enzo appears to be inserting himself into the Big (Show vs. Cass) feud while they figure out if they're going to do anything with him ever as a singles guy.
