Another new line! Yay!First it was Operation Monster Force and associated BigBadWorkshop lines. Now it’s Action Force. There are a lot of lines out there that I call “Classified Plus”, in that they have similar articulation schemes and size and weapons and such to GI Joe Classified, but with more sculpt, more paint, and better accessories. A lot off Action Force is kind of generic military dudes I don’t care about, but someone posted this Pandora on Bluesky and she immediately went on the impulse list. And a lot of impulse list stuff ended up in the December Pile because after November’s pile, it’s been slim pickings on the preorders front.
She’s basically a biker psycho with a bunch of hands, a knife, two heads, and two pistols. They also count her holsters and her stand as accessories but the holsters came on the legs and are never coming off, so…
Mainly it’s two things. The sculpt and paint hits on the jacket, and those heads. Very Bruce Timm heads. They caught my eye and I knew this would be my first Action Force. Articulation is great, everything’s great, reasonable price for an indie Classified-esque with lots of bonus paint hits. Not sure if I’ll dip my toe in again unless they do things that aren’t Drabber Classified Military Dudes but they’re solid figures.
