Yep, its more Cartoon Collection goodness.Look, that’s how the preorders crumble sometimes. It was a 13-item Pile of Loot that shipped, and nine of them were either Superfriends or MOTU Cartoon Collection. Not my fault BBTS still hasn’t gotten the Jada Blanka and Sagat yet even though I saw them at Local Retailer yesterday along with Tony The Tiger and DID NOT BUY THEM. I am noble.
Anyway, you should know the Cartoon Collection deal by now. Figure, maybe some character or episode-specific accessories, OK articulation, dead-on cartoon looks. Which is what finally got me into MOTU after honestly decades of occasionally dipping into neat-looking remake lines.
They’re both a little light - I think all the budget for the last two waves went entirely into Invisible Skeletor. But that’s fine. Frost comes with the power effects, Catra comes with a small version of her cat form, which I decided to use in a very 80’s effect way.
As for the pic, the Frosta effect is from a shot in an episode where Frosti is INCREDIBLY HORNY for He-Man. Seriously. If you can skim through Season 2’s “Sweet Bee’s Home” somewhere I’d recommend it because goddamn it’s… something.
