Goddamn I love me some Jada Toys Street Fighter.
Now I freely admit that, as these things go, Ken is not the most exciting. I’m much more excited fro the next two, Dhalsim and M. Bison, coming this summer. I have Ryu, so I have like 80A% of Ken already. Different head, different color scheme, blue fireball instead of red.
But I am committed to getting every character featured in Pete Holmes’ Street Fighter Red Tape sketches, so Ken’s on the list. And it’s all the same beautiful Jada Toys engineering we got with Ken and Chun Li (and presumably Fei Long who wasn’t in the sketches and is even more boring so he gets skipped), so zero complaints.
We’ve been over this before, but these toys are the absolute industry leaders in functional poseability. They not only have all the joints, there’s something about the way the joints are made that you can do almost anything you could possibly want with them. Just fantastic, especially at the price point.
Also, Ken being Ken, I could do this:
Obvious? Absolutely. Fun? Also absolutely.
