This shit is Bluesky’s fault.I don’t (normally) like most crossover figures. It’s a subgenre of toys I understand but most of ‘em don’t do it for me. I also don’t (normally) go for Playmates stuff, including and especially their TMNT. Their stuff lives firmly in the Toy Toy world vs. my preference, which is just the best looking, most movable version of any given character at a price point I’m willing to pay for that character.
But I saw the Leo on Bluesky and goddamn, those katanas got me. Also they were $15 apiece And they don’t need to fit in with literally anything else I have except other giant monsters which are all scale-fucked from the jump anyway.
These are the only three that exist, currently - apparently Donatello is either Jet Jaguar or Mechagodzilla, depending on who you believe on the internet, so presumably he’ll be in a wave 2 if one gets made.
Got out the plastic building collection for this one and I really desperately need a solution for the ground on these. Like maybe I need to make and print out a custom street “mat” layout I can lay down and set the buildings on or just print some scale street tiles I can place around them because doing it digitally ain’t working.
