Probably gonna regret not waiting for clearance on this one.I got FOMO. I have this specific Rey Mysterio outfit as an old 90’s Ruthless Aggression figure one of only two Rey Mysterios in the collection, and the thought of replacing him with Ultimate Edition articulation was too much to risk him being sold out.
That said, this is the most shrinkflation-ass Ultimate Edition figure I’ve ever bought. He comes with two other hands, a fabric strip belt with a bit of velcro on the end, a WCW cruiserweight championship, and a fabric mask to hang around his neck like he does in his entrance. That’s it. There are base price Marvel Legends that come with more stuff.
And that neck hanging mask? I had to… find a way to watch Halloween Havoc in its entirety to even figure out it was a thing he had around his neck during his entrance, because while the match is on the internet, the entrances aren’t. Anywhere. And the Fed library is on ESPN+ or some bullshit now. And none of the video reviews knew for sure, they were just making a bunch of guesses that glossed over it. Madness.
On the up side, I -was- able to, thanks to the same process, snag a background of the entrance.
