That’s himn in the spotlight.This is the Bulbashelf. It needs some straightening and clarifying ‘cause some unrelated stuff is also stuck up in there but it contains nearly three decades of Bulbasaurs. I like Bulbasaur because his portrayal in the US version of the 90’s Pokemon cartoon was a grumpy little shithead.
But as you can see, there’s pretty much just the one shape and pose for any Bulbasaur toy. You can change sizes, materials, and formats, but that’s about it. So I haven’t gotten any new ones in forever, except the occasional dupe as a gift from someone who remembers I have a thing for Bulbasaur. But then Cathy came back from Califonia with this little guy with his vines out Vine Whipping! Whole-ass new Bulbasaur. So he went on the shelf and rather than finding someone for him to be attacking I just took a pic of the shelf because there’s a lot going on.
