November P.O.L.: Deadpool Movie Colossus!

There are only a few movie series where I want ALL THE THINGS from it. One is Deadpool. So, yeah, this Marvel Legends movie Colossus was a must-grab. There’s a bunch of stuff I still want from the other movies, especially Deadpool and Wolverine, and I never got the Josh Brolin Cable though I am stalking eBay for it. Top of the list are Yukio and Russell/Firefist, but I’ll take whatever they got.

The Colossus is great. Not perfect, but pretty good. I don’t know why his torso doesn’t move more. It doesn’t look like there’s anything getting in the way of it from an engineering standpoint, it just… doesn’t crunch or flex much. Everything else is average for a Hasbro Big Boy except for the elbows and knees, which are way above average - double joints with as much range as the muscles allow.

Light on accessories and a bit heavy on the price point - one extra head, two extra hands, and an X-Men rule book (not pictured because by this point he wasn’t following the rules) but all are well executed.

Shown here in a very loose, very quick interpretation of the end of the Colossus/Juggernaut fight from Deadpool 2. I hit the “good enough” point very early on with this shot, because the combination of limited articulation in the Diamond Select Juggernaut, the amount of space these two take up in the regular photo box, and the ability to find a matching background shot from the movie were honestly all More Trouble Than It Was Worth. But Juggernaut does take USB Micro-B.
