21 PROJECTS #19: “The Bone Zone”

Three! Three strip club pics! Ah ha ha ha! This pic comes from a bunch of stuff. First, of course, are the first two strip club pics, which form a natural progression into this one:

Then, just joking around, based on a bunch of people on Bluesky posting a different spooky toy pic every day, I said what if I did a pic every day but every day it was just Boo Berry in a strip club. Wasn’t thinking of this strip club at the time. Which led me to think about what the other cereal monsters’ strip club behavior would be like.

Plus I always thought I was gonna do a skeleton version after Ka-Zar and Meat Man and call it the Bone Zone, so much so that when I realized I should do this, I had to search to see if I’d already done it. That’s how strong the memory was.

And, of course, all of this was in the leadup to Halloween.

Who to include was a little tricky. A werewolf didn’t make the cut and maybe should have but I wanted to find a way to use that glow in the dark ghost soldier again. I have a fair amount of Halloween-adjacent figures thanks to Monster Force. But also space was limited because I needed Franken Berry getting ejected and the armored Mythic Legions skeleton was perfect for the role.

The skeleton that could hit the pose is the one I went with. Somewhat oddly, the Storm Arena Golden Axe Skeleton couldn’t do the hands behind the hed despite its generally excellent mobility. My Fwoosh Skeleton might have worked but one elbow pin snapped off in the bin. But it was the Graveyard Skeleton from the not known for articulation Mythic Legions line that shockinly hit it the best.
