Sorry, Dark Order…I really did want the Jazwares Vault Briscoe Brothers 2-pack, but I didn’t want to pay for the figs plus shipping. I was thinking, like the rest of the Vault exclusives, that it’d eventually make its way over to Ringside, where I could pair it with one of the wrestling figs I’m keeping an eye on hoping for price drops.
But then the Vault did a 30% off sale for Labor Day, and that covered the shipping, plus a few extra bucks left ove3r. Then they took two weeks to get it to me, so technically, this is the penultimate photo of the September acquisitions if you go by when the pic got completed.
Anyway, they’re very good. They come with extra hands, soft goods long jackets, the ROH tag championship belts, and two sets of chained dog collars so that, if I ever get FTR, I can recreate the dog collars match that was Jay Briscoe’s final match.
Definitely an 8/10 on the Jazwares Effort Scale.
Shown here giving a Froggy Bow to Evil Uno and a Jay Driller to Stu Grayson, because I looked at a list of 2022-23 Briscoes opponents and Uno and Stu were the only ones I have as figures. It wasn’t a ROH match, but I used the ROH ring apron from the apron collection I’ve been making. Ring ropes are technically the wrong ones but only I and a few other nerds would notice.
This is my first stab at using the empty ring photos i shot over Labor Day week when I had The Arena up, and it worked out pretty good. I -should- spend some time cleaning up all the different angles, giving them appropriate crowd backgrounds, ring mats, and crops, but I haven’t been THAT bored yet.
