Smackdown Live (5/30)

HOW IS THIS WORKING?!
Pretty good Smackdown Live this week, coming as it does in that sweet spot where they're setting up their matches for the next PPV.

I mean, sure, we had the obligatory "three faces and three heels in a multi-man match in a tag and singles match that don't really mean anthing" deal that we've been getting on Raw for three weeks, but that's to be expected. And three of those six guys are Nakamura, Owens, and Zayn, so there's that.

The women's #1 contender match didn't even get started, as all five women beat the shit out of each other, with Charlotte powerbombing Natalya through a table. This led to Shane-O-Mac making the long-rumored first-ever women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match. Should be a good match.

Breezango have been demoted to undercard comedy feuds, this week with the Colons. This is OK if they keep it going and actually give the tag division more than one segment per show. But they still need to do something about Breezango's entrance and music.

In jabbering news, The New Day announced their title match with the Usos at MitB in a back and forth with the Usos that was as entertaining as we all thought it would be. And Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal had a face-to-screen promo-off that was boring as fuuuuuuuuck. Fuuuuuuck Randy Orton.
