Monthly Free Games (March 2017)

This is my isometric exercise.

Back to posting after a break with a bunch of free games, many of which I've already bought and enjoyed, and many of which are kind of shitty. But there's Lumo, so the month's not a total loss.

Monthly Free Games (Feb 2017)

Best of the month BY FAR.

Sony's policy of "Firstish Tuesday Of The Month" is the main reason for the MFG list to be out on the 11th this month, although hilariously enough, just like last month, I have the same fucking cold that's been going around. Anyway, get Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime and poke at the rest.

Monthly Free Games (Jan 2017)

Hey, free Rayman!

Procrastinatio bites you on the ass. Had this all but ready to go and then I got sick. Anyway, you've got like ten hours left to grab the mediocre Outlast if you want it. Another sluggish month for free games, overall.

Monthly Free Games (Dec 2016)

Strongest in a very weak field.

I guess they want you to buy games during the Christmas month, because oh, what a turdpile the free games are this month. A bunch of subpar indies on the PS4 and a couple of generation-boundary games full of those weird faces you get from late-period last-gen games or early-period current-gen games on the XBox One. On the upside, all the shitty Playstation games were cross-buy on the PS4, so I didn't even have to see if my PS3 controllers were charged.

Monthly Free Games (November 2016)

This is the one to seek out.

Sony is the clear winner when it comes to current-gen free games this month. Last-gen is a bit of a draw.

Monthly Free Games (October 2016)

Pretty much exactly what meets the eye, but still good.

This is officially the latest I've ever gotten the Monthly Free Games up, I think. Especially given that the first Tuesday (when the Sony stuff drops) wasn't that deep into the month. Especially sad given the paucity of good stuff this month, although a bunch of you get to enjoy the best game here for the first time, while I already owned it.

Monthly Free Games (Sept 2016)

The best free game this month has a lot of balls.

This isn't an awful month for free games, especially on the PS4, but a lot of the offerings cater to very specific tastes. Like a taste for the world's most boring wrestling game.

Monthly Free Games (Aug 2016)

One big standout for me this week, plus a handful of solid niche titles and a few duds. Really, overall, a pretty solid month.a

Monthly Free Games (July 2016)

Accidentally lost this whole goddamned thing, so I'm re-creating it from memory. We'll see how it goes. Basically, it's a great month for fans of long, unskippable cutscenes and mechanics so deep as to be obtuse. LThe rest of you can play Gat Out Of Hell if you haven't already.
