GOT: Tempest!

RISE, OH TEMPEST! RIIIIIISE!

So, when I ordered the X-Men and the Gauntlet, I also ordered a Tempest, because it’s both one of my all time faves and also it’s a unique, distinctive cabinet shape. I got Indiana Jones by mistake. Same cabinet shape, wrong stickers. It happens. Seller didn’t want the Indy back so I paid it forward but not before including it in the shot for the back wall of the Virtual Arcade. But I don’t need to be storing it.

The Tempest has a joystick. No getting around it. I wish the little extra effort of a paddle/dial had been used instead, but I get it - that the guy is even doing custom cabinet shapes at all is the big draw now. After vacation I’ll look into finding or making a properly sized black puck and swap it out.

My VHS Animated Storm got jacked the fuck up in the bin and I’m probably gonna need to start looking for a replacement. Wish I’d known when the first X-Men ‘97 Storm was still on shelves.
