Find Yourself Someone Who department.So, Cathy was in CA, and ran into a sidewalk sale event at a toy store where some dude was selling a bunch of Mythic Legions at retail or thereabouts. Most of it was current stuff you could get from retailers, but a couple of them were older figs otherwise gone and one of them was a kitty-man.
From a Legions standpoint he’s very solid. Nice cloak, nice black armor sculpt, an array of swords and daggers, the obligatory shoulder armor, and those kick-ass keys. He also comes with hands and two heads to make him either a beardy cloak dude or a monstery green cloak dude but the main head is kitty so…
This also features some new set-building gear by which I mean very old set-building gear. I longed for Stone Wall Legos with nice color gradients and textures and those don’t exist but I think my brain was remembering something because it turns out we’d kept a ton of Mega Bloks Dragons stuff from like 15 years ago and those are at least shaped right even if they’re monochrome. So I built a big corner just barely large enough to be this backdrop, shined some light through the window, and went from there.
