Even by my standards this is a weirdly specific joke.What had happened was, there was a short window between when Dream Date Skeletor became available and when the GI Joe Classified SDC exclusive Fatal Fluffy went up for preorder. There was some doubt in my mind that I’d be able to secure the Fluffy given Hasbro’s hit and miss track record on exclusive availability in the past. This, by the way, is the Hasbro FF:
Anyway, over on Bluesky, I joked that if I couldn’t get the Fatal Fluffy, I’d just “tell my kids” Dream Date Skeletor was a Fatal Fluffy, mainly because of the similarity in price points and timing.
But then I thought about it and realized I had everything I needed to do it. The horns are on the cane head (tucked into his jacket), the cat is a little creature, I have at least two Classified scale whips, and plenty of fire effects - in this case the Super Action Stuff flamethrower effect. All I needed was the note, and I have a printer.
So, yeah. Fake Fluffy. An in-joke mostly with my own brain.
